True presence detection — detects a still body breathing, not just motion. A 24GHz mmWave sensor paired with an ESP32-C3 reports true occupancy to Home Assistant over Wi-Fi.

What is in the box

• ESP32-C3 SuperMini development board (pre-flashed)
• 24GHz mmWave presence module (LD2450-class)
• Jumper wires + USB-C cable
• Step-by-step build guide

1. Wire over UART: GPIO4(TX)→mmWave RX, GPIO5(RX)→mmWave TX, power from 5V.
2. Mount ~2m high, tilt down 15°, avoid pointing at windows.
3. HA auto-discovers an occupancy binary sensor.
